How many years do you have to do something in a row to call it a tradition? This is the second year I have done South Lake Tahoe Minis, and man let me tell you I’m already excited for next year. Sometimes a location can just ignite inspiration and creativity and this is one of those. Besides being slightly chilly in the fall, this spot just has so many options.

When choosing a location when you have littles, I love having the option of being able to run around. Kiddos are natural explorers. They roam naturally and when there is an open field or a trail that is not close to a ledge or water, it adds ease to your session. This also allows time for you and your spouse to step into the frame without worrying about your kiddos going swimming.
