Hello Owen
It was somewhere between the age of 9-10, my uncle married, and our family grew. It was a family that you got that feeling, you were always meant to be together. Also, instant "cousins" came along with this marriage.Growing up I didn't have a lot of cousins my age, or if I did, we didn't live super close. This new bond, we lived close and went to high school together. We both grew and later found ourselves both in the military life. Her enlisted, mine by marraige. But we found ourselves back in the same area around the same time.Through photography, I was able to join right alongside their journey with them as engaged, to husband and wife, to " I have a little secret for you!" This is what I live for in this journey of photography. Making beautiful, life changing bonds. Building friendships and celebrating love and life right alongside of you. And man did I get to do all of that with this family! Sweet little Owen, was welcomed into this world, surrounded by so much love!I often read posts from other photographers, jealous of their gift of words to describe thier work. To describe the connection through beautiful quotes. This, isn't quite a strength of mine. With Hello Baby sessions, I capture how I see the story told aloud, told through images. The touch, tiny fresh details, the awe and wonder in the eyes of parents, and the love between not only two people like yesterday but the love between a family of 3(+) today.
